In the summer of 2015, four individuals embarked on a journey of a lifetime... to introduce Adventure Riding to the Texas Hill Country like never before. Now we are expanding our vision and relocating our adventures to Mexico. Adventure Tejas is a family-founded company, fueled by a passion for ADV Riding with an emphasis on freedom, adventure and learning.
Our Mission
To train and encourage adventure motorcycle riders to explore the back country roads and scenery of the World. To promote the sport of Adventure Riding (ADV) while advancing skill development to increase rider safety. We will give back to our community through charitable involvement and promotions designed to help those in need. Along the way we will build life-long relationships and strive to make a positive impact on others.

Meet The Team:
Wesley Ely
Wesley has been certified as a Off-road Adventure Motorcycle Instructor by Enduro Action Team (E.A.T.) in Borsdorf, Germany. Wesley previously completed formal off-road training with D.A.R.T. (Dragoo Adventure Rider Training) in Norman, OK, completing Levels 1, 2 & 3 and private training under the guidance of BMW-certified off-road instructor Bill Dragoo. Wesley started riding motorcycles as a child and quickly became addicted to the thrill of the two-wheeled experience. Wes was introduced to the idea of Adventure Riding through Ghost Rider, by Neil Peart (Drummer for the iconic rock band RUSH). Watching the TV Series’ Long Way Round and Long Way Down featuring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman sealed the deal. The rest, as they say, is history.
Stephen Cavazos
Stephen is Wesley’s son-in-law and a co-founder and helps with training and guiding on some Adventure Tejas events. Stephen's first two-wheeled experience (besides a bicycle) was on a 49cc Yamaha Vino, at the age of 15. Stephen's experience now includes nearly seven years of BMW GS adventure. Wesley introduced Stephen to the TV Series Long Way Round and the two were hooked. It didn't take long before Stephen and Wesley were scheming of ways to buy a adventure bike and riding gear.
AMY ELY & AUBREY CAVAZOS
Amy and Wesley have been married 38+ years. Amy has been a successful Realtor and has proven to be a master at networking and building relationships. These are key elements in putting together all the parts of a first-class experience.
Aubrey is Amy & Wesley’s daughter and married Stephen just after graduating college. Aubrey has a background in Graphic Design and Social Media and serves as the go-to person on those issues.
