This event will include a full day of level 1 training on Day 1, including explanations and exercises emphasizing the base elements of off-road riding. We will cover proper riding stance, balance, peg-weighting, tight turns, clutch-throttle-brake control, emergency trail braking and more. Day 2 will be additional training in the AM and a half-day adventure on varying road surfaces such as pavement, dirt, loose gravel, sand and water crossings.
Both days planned start time is 9:00AM. Saturday we will try and wrap up by 5:00PM, Sunday by 4:00PM. Location will be in Kerrville, exact location to be determined.
The price includes professional instruction from certified off-road instructor, lunch on Saturday and 1/2 day ADV ride.
Participants should bring and be prepared to wear helmet, gloves and strike-point protection (knees, elbows, etc.). Dual-sport or adventure-type motorcycle (any size) with 80/20 (pavement/dirt %) or better tires. Crash bars/protection and skid plate recommended. In the event weather conditions cause cancellation participants will receive credit for a future class or refund according to their preference.
